It can be the person "running like a bunny" to make sure everyone around them is happy.
It can ALSO be the person that needs to BE helped, ALL the time.
Different faces/needs, but still the need to control something/someone.
I feel that is at the heart of codependency - and I have been on both sides of the equation.
I find myself in "Codependency Opportunities" quite often. Each time they come up, I have a choice to make.
One of the BIGGEST lessons I have learned, is that I cannot
care more about ANY situation, than the people, business, etc, does. When this happens, I usually get completely stressed - because I am being codependent.
When I share these tidbits of wisdom, I am in NO
way saying, "I've arrived"; but I am aware when I am successful, or need to try harder, next time. Because that is all we can really do - keep moving forward, and learn from the mistakes we all make.
Have
a good day, and be safe... #listen #ibelieveyou #doyouhear
*October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Please share this post, no matter what month it is, to help get
the word out. The Victim has to make the choice - but, "What If..." they read something you sent them, and it just "clicks"?
*I share a "What If..." post, on the first post of every month, and I would love
the opportunity to share YOUR "what ifs". Please send your "What If..." ideas to Connie J... - beamererin@yahoo.com; or through Ozer, at the website or email, ozerministries@att.net.
