Do ever find yourself "fighting a battle"; then part-way through, you wonder why you're fighting?
I've heard you cannot win a battle with a fool. When someone is dead-set on keeping their opinion, and not open to listening
to anything anyone else may have to say; is it time to take your opinion and just go?
I'm not necessarily saying either opinion is wrong or right; but if it comes down to a no-win situation - why are you going to make yourself crazy
trying to "win"?
Your own sanity/mental health is worth so much more than that.
Now, if you're in physical danger - that definitely changes things up a bit - your physical safety IS paramount; and you staying
there fighting is probably only escalating the danger of the situation. Call for help, and get yourself to safety.
Always remember YOU are always worth fighting for...just pick the battles you need to engage in...
Have a good day, and be safe... #listen #ibelieveyou #doyouhear
*October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Please share this post, no matter what month it is, to help get the word out. The Victim has to make
the choice - but, "What If..." they read something you sent them, and it just "clicks"?
*I share a "What If..." post on the first Monday, of every month, and I would love the opportunity to share YOUR "what ifs". Please send your
"What If..." ideas to Connie J... - firstname.lastname@example.org; or through Ozer, at the website or email, email@example.com.
