More Holiday "Fun"??! (Connie J...)

People get so wrapped up in how they think the Holiday Season should be for everyone, that they tend to ignore the reality right in front of them.

I heard the phrase, "You don't owe anyone an interaction.", once; and it has been life-changing for me.

It's important for YOUR well-being that you do what YOU need to do - for yourself, AND your children - ESPECIALLY during the Holiday season.

Now, there is no such thing as a "perfect" Holiday gathering. In my 60 years, I have learned that. I remember being traumatized by situations on several Holidays.

Then choices were made that, at the time, seemed to further traumatize; but upon reflection, those choices turned the "Trauma Tide" to become a valuable life-lesson.

But can't ANYTHING become a life-lesson? Is it time for you to embark on that learning and healing life-journey?
