I want you to take a few moments, today, to not only remember the members of our Armed Forces that have passed on; but to think about those we know that were/are Victims of Domestic Violence.
This day, that was created
to be a day of celebration for those military sacrifices, is also an American Holiday - and we know that Domestic Violence rises around any Holiday.
Between alcohol consumption, and the pressure to create that perfect picnic setting,
etc; the pressure just rises.
As you attend your various events, throughout this year, pay attention to those around you.
Do you feel tension that you could slice with a knife, from someone; does someone,
or something just not seem "right"? Follow that feeling, if you can, safely. Ask if everything is ok. Try and hear what is NOT being said.
This year, especially, after all of the quarantining people have done; I believe we need to
be even more observant as we start to gather.
Remember, "It takes a village" is NOT just about raising children - we ALL need to be there for each other.
Have a good day, and be safe... #ENDtheSILENCEofVIOLENCE

*October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Please share this, no matter what month it is, to help get the word out. The Victim has to make the choice - but, "What If..." they
read something you sent them, that makes the difference? #walkinTHEIRshoes
*I will be sharing a "What If..." post on the first Monday, of every month. I would love to share YOUR "what ifs". Please send your "What If..." ideas
to Connie J... - beamererin@yahoo.com; or through Ozer, at the website or email, ozerministries@att.net.
