I'm a "problem‐solver". However, in being supportive, it is NOT what "the supporter" needs; it IS what "the supportee" needs - the support, itself. There is a very fine line.
This is pretty applicable to many life, and
world situations. I have really been challenged, in this time, to really buckle down and look at myself.
Am I being true to myself, and my beliefs? Or am I still "faking it, to make it", as I basically lived my life for the first
As I've mentioned before, there are as many different ways to support, as there are people that need to be supported. If you want to know what kind of support they need, ask - if they say they don't know, just be there for
them. I try and share ideas, throughout this Blog; but as I have said before, their safety is paramount.
Remember, support is not solving the problem. You should do what you can; but the "supportee" is responsible for
any actions that need to happen.
