Self-Acceptance... (Connie J...)

This is really the first step to ANY changes that occur in your life.

Until that point, all your energy goes into covering up or hiding what you don't want to see, or to be seen.

Isn't it time to be real?

If you're living in a Domestic Violence situation, it's pretty hard, huh?

Are you aware that only you can take the steps to make that change? People may see what is going on - have they mentioned it? How did you respond?

You have the power to take that first step to make these changes. It is not an easy path.

There are people trained to help you do what must be done - but it is up to you, and you have to do the work.

I know you're tired - but you are also worth the fight.

Before you can take that first step, however, you must accept where, and who you are. Worthwhile.
