SUPER Bowl - Or Super-Stressed... (Connie J...)

With the Super Bowl coming up, as with everything over this last year, tensions are running even tighter.

This is exacerbated in a home where there is Domestic Violence, just like during the Holidays. Especially when you factor in alcohol, excited winners/disappointing losses - it just raises the level, for someone walking on eggshells on a normal Tuesday, let alone during something big, like the Super Bowl.

Remember, there IS help available; but YOU have to be the one to reach out; or if something does happen, and others (ie - police, CPS, etc) get involved, take the help that is offered. NOBODY. DESERVES. TO. BE. ABUSED.

For someone who has been belittled, their feelings ignored, etc; this may be new information. Many Domestic Violence Victims were raised in the type of environment where their feelings didn't matter. Sad, but true. I was, and didn't realize it, until I was in my late-30s; and a lot of my feelings were expressed - loudly!!!

Whatever your situation, I am believing for your safety; and that truth be shown. Reality isn't always easy; but it's a place to start.
