Another Holiday, Another Excuse... (Connie j...)

"Well, Christmas is in two days, and the swelling still hasn't gone down. Guess I'll have to come up with, yet, ANOTHER reason we can't go for Christmas Dinner."

"Last year, I was in that blasted cast - oh, what a field day they would've had with THAT, around the table - after we'd left, of course..."
