Are You Safe??! (Connie J...)

What does the word "Safe" bring to mind?

From "keeping YOURSELF safe", to being a "safe" person another person can go to; it covers a plethora of situations.

Both definitions can also be utilized in the same event; ie - a Domestic Violence situation - as a parent, you must keep yourself  safe, as well as your children/pets, etc.

Again, I give only minimal examples, because the answer can be so broad. What DOES the word "safe" bring to YOUR mind?

I have told most people I talk to, since 9/11/01, to be safe, before we part ways. This is ONE thing I CAN do. It helps with MY personal security, which is lacking for many, this day in age.

Are you internally safe? Could one wrong move on your part topple your personal security to the ground, crushing your feelings of safety under it's heavy foot??!

I encourage you to REALLY think about this, maybe even journal about it; as it can pertain to every day life - even if you have no obvious external issues to deal with.
