It's Never Too Late... (Connie J...)

Unfortunately, you cannot necessarily say these words, in regards to Domestic Violence. For far too many, the sad truth is, it becomes too late. I lost a cousin, this way.

A lot of times, people leave, and the abuser lures them back in with their empty, "I love you...", "I need you...", "You just misunderstood me...", "I know I've said this before, but...", and so on...

They return, and the situation escalates, and people wind up killed. These are harsh words; but again, an unfortunate truth, far too often.

I often wish I had a magic wand to "make it go away", but it's the harsh reality of the world in which we live.

I do understand I am kind of "preaching to the choir", here; but if we can get the word, and information to people, actually reach them, maybe we can help a few.

But if we ALL do our part,  just imagine what could happen!!! That's all I ever expect of anyone, is to do what you can.
