Thoughts For a Wedding Day... (Connie J...)

I'll be attending a wedding, later today, for two friends that have had a few obstacles to get to this day. I don't know all the details, and I don't need to. However, I believe these obstacles, will only make their relationship stronger, and I wish them the very best!!!

Obstacles are a normal part of any relationship; but what separates a healthy relationship from an unhealthy one, is how the obstacles are approached and dealt with.

If they are approached, and worked on, together, regardless the source, I believe that is a healthy relationship.

One example of an unhealthy relationship, is when there is a separation, and one always blames the other for the relationship problems; especially if seen by outside sources.

Not saying there will not be differences of opinions regarding random situations that arise; but it is in the willingness to stay engaged, and situation resolution, that demonstrates a healthy relationship.
