I Have Been Triggered... (Connie J...)

I was recently reading about someone's description of their abuse; and I got triggered. A lot of feelings came rushing back; and I just wanted hide myself away, and cry for awhile. 

This WILL happen, periodically, throughout the rest of our lives; but it's not the trigger, itself - it's the reaction TO the trigger.

Whether it's leftover from Domestic Violence, bullying, sexual assault, or whatever has happened to you in life, you must go on living.
