Disappointment... (Connie J...)

We all have disappointments in life. It's what we do with them, that forms the person we are.

Some of these can be a direct result of being abused in some way, usually by someone we know, and trust. Be it bullying, sexual assault, emotional abuse, or whatever it is; you ARE affected.

You don't have to dwell on the fact that these happened; just be aware that they will affect your life, in some way. From how you respond to people, at times; to the very way you live your life.

You can live a long, healthy life; with healthy relationships, etc. The choice is yours about how you live it. Those disappointments can push you to thrive, or drag you down.

Turn those negatives into a positive. I repeat, the choice is yours...
