#NOMORE Three Day Weekend... (Connie J...)

With Labor Day this Monday, many people are going to be  enjoying a 3-day weekend. For a Victim of Domestic Violence, this may not be nearly as enjoyable.

Sometimes, this type of weekend possibly means  a higher use of alcohol, or other "recreational" substances; which can exacerbate underlying anger/control issues, causing more problems for the Victims.

If you're at a function, and you see a buddy taking a nasty turn as they partake; maybe intervene, and see if you can help distract them to a more positive direction?

Just one more example of "doing what you can do"...
