#NOMORE Each Situation is Different... (Connie J...)

When involved in a Domestic Violence situation, there is all kinds of information out there, and numbers to call, etc. The first step has to come from the Victim, however.

Until they come to the end of their own resources, which is necessary for ANY kind of change, things WILL stay the same, or even get worse. Very rarely will it get better.

You cannot make anyone change. All you can do is support them, in whatever decision they make. There are, occasionally, situations, that if the couple works together, change can happen.

Don't allow yourself to be abused by their situation; but let them know you still care.
