#NOMORE A Relationship is Not Parenting... (Connie J)

For children, someone telling you that you can't go somewhere, or see your friends, or even what to wear; you're a kid, and it's your parents making those  "suggestions/rules". That's okay, it's their job.

However, if you're old enough to be in a relationship, those are choices you've earned the right to make. A partner is NOT supposed to parent you.

Now that being said, if you are a teen, and your parents see something you can't see because you're "love blind"; and your partner is trying to parent you, or control or abuse you, listen to your parents.

A relationship is not meant to be one-sided. No one is in charge - you should be equal partners. You both will have different strengths; but you should balance each other out.

Are you a teen that is either in this situation, or one of your friends is? There is no age limit to be a Victim of Domestic Violence. It can, and does happen to teenagers all the time.

Ask for help, and do not give up until you get it. It will not be easy, but you are worth it. Did you hear that? YOU. ARE. WORTH. IT.

No one has the right to belittle, control, or abuse ANYONE!!!

Will you join me in saying #NOMORE, #KNOWMORE, and help yourself and your friends?

Thank you, have a good day, and be safe... #NOMORE #KNOWMORE
