Once again, the Holiday Season is upon us. As a lot of people have been focusing on all the BIG stuff - family gatherings, Christmas shopping, etc; I like to see the smaller picture, myself.
Are people REALLY happy? Are they safe? Is their every
day life the same as it looks from the outside? Are they living a "real" life? Do they know how to ask for help, if they need it? Are they in a position to be able to ACCEPT the help they need? Are they even aware they need help?
I get told, a lot,
I "think" too much, and maybe I do; but I think these are some important questions.
I work in retail - I see A LOT!!! The good, the bad, and the ugly - EVERY day - a lot of times family by family. There are the givers, and the takers.
said before, if we ALL can do what we can do; even if it's ONE thing, it's something.
In this crazy world, we wonder if one simple act of kindness can make a difference - "Like a small boat on the ocean setting big waves into motion..."
